![]() Ironman I knew from the first time I talked with Mitch that he
was completely different to the other coaches I’ve worked with. His training
plans weren’t”off the shelf" "one size fits all" rubbish but
carefully structured and well researched to my needs. I think the thing that
makes Mitch such a great coach is that at times he knew me better than I knew
myself while he was totally focused on my goals, my strengths and improving
my weaknesses, he could also see when I or my body were starting to tire and
what to do to keep me strong and motivated on the path to Ironman In end the end I knocked an hour and a half of my best Ironman time and still felt great at the finish, I was also able to recover quickly and get ready for my next event with the same positive attitude that Mitch installs in you whenever you train with him Thanks Mitch, I can honestly say that without your coaching I don´t even know if I could have finished this years race, let alone as strongly as I did (or with as much fun)

I first contacted Mitch because I was unhappy with my weight and fitness levels and to be honest thought I was beyond help! Mitch however was very professional and after finding out a little more about me, my lifestyle and goals, he drew up a program to suit my individual needs. Mitch monitors my fitness levels, achievments and goals regulary and changes this program accordingly. The exercise programmes are always very varied, everything from Boxercise, to Weights, to Pool Aerobics and this in turn makes them enjoyable. Although it is a ´struggle´sometimes to get my session with Mitch I always leave feeling refreshed and re-charged. Mitch is always happy to help with any advice he can give on diet, exercise, health issues etc...He has often researched issues on my behalf and presented me with any relevant information which I have found very useful. Aswell as all of the above, Mitch has a great personality which is very important when you are spending time on a one-to-one basis. He is very approachable, easy to get on with and even quite funny sometimes!!! In the last two and a half years, following a sensible(ish!) diet and Mitch´s training program, I have managed to lose over 40 kilos, something I am sure I would not have accomplished without Mitch´s help. My fitness levels have improved enormously and I am much happier with myself and consequently with my life in general. I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to Mitch. “When we approached Mitch to ask him if he would be the independent adjudicator of a sponsored Slimathon for a local animal charity he willingly agreed to give some of his time free of charge. He went over and above what we had asked of him and provided those taking part with food charts; exercise plans and regular weigh-ins. He set up a weekly keep fit class at a special price and even gave a percentage of his fees to the fund.Everyone that kept to his regime reached their final targets, which he had calculated for them, and we all feel fitter and in better shape thanks to the help and support given to us by Mitch. Some of the participants were so impressed by his professionalism and dedication that they still work with him at his well equipped training centre to continue with their new healthier lifestyle.
